Road & Bridge

The Dale County Road and Bridge manages the County’s Road and Bridge network. Management of this network is done through the unit system, a system by which the County Commission employs a Professional Civil Engineer who supervises and directs the daily operations of the County’s Road and Bridge Department. Presently, the County’s Road and Bridge network consists of 438.90 miles of paved road, 98 miles of unpaved road, 59 bridge structures, and 45 bridge culverts.

Maintenance Shop

The Maintenance Shop is responsible for the maintenance of over $2.5 million of heavy equipment. The Maintenance Shop is located approximately 5 miles South of Ozark at 1725 Co Rd 30.


The Maintenance Shop hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  For more information contact the Maintenance Shop at (334) 774-8830.

Engineering Office

The Engineering Office is located in the Dale County Government Building in Ozark on South Highway 123 near the intersection of Highway 231 South. Enter the front lobby and take a left, the Engineering Offices 2,3,4, and 5 on the left hand side of the hall.  


The Engineering Office hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
